Tears of missing Miss Stella Ezinne Njideka Ezeibekwe (Lady decency), so early plus Encomium were the major highlights of the the night of tributes organised in honour of the National Coordinator of the Progressives Movement for Better Nigeria, PM4BN and Chief Executive Officer of DECENCY GLOBAL NEWS.
The event held at the hall of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ Press Center, Utako, Abuja attracted Journalists, colleagues of Stella while in the International Institute of Journalism, IIJ and members of the Progressives Movement for Better Nigeria.
Leading in the delivery of tributes, the Secretary of the FCT chapter of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, Mr Ochiaka, said words cannot be enough to describe the unassuming person of Stella Njideka Ezeh who he described as rugged journalist.
Oluchi Caroline who worked with Stella as Personal Assistant struggled to hold back tears as she described Late Njideka as a boss indeed.
She said “with Njideka, there was no dull moment.”
Oluchi the prayed for the repose of the soul of the kind and philanthropist Lady Decency.
The Editor of DECENCY GLOBAL NEWS, Sir ‘Tunde Babalola in his tributes described Stella as a goal getter, thorough professional who respects other people views.
He said Miss Ezeh would be greatly missed.
Sir Babalola appreciated God for giving the world Stella Njideka Ezeh.
The Lead Planner of PM4BN, Chris C. Nnamani, said their late National Coordinator believed so much in a better Nigeria for all Nigerians.
According to Nnamani, “Stella Ezeh always stand for justice without minding the cost on her wellbeing.”
Highlights of the event were candle light procession as well as prayers for the family members of Stella, relatives, colleague and well wishes.
Lady Decency died on Wednesday June 26th 2024 in Thailand and would be buried in her hometown, Umeagbaghosu in Eluama village in Ideato North LGA of Imo state on Thursday August 1st, 2024.
