The management of the Enugu based radio station Urban 94.5FM has alerted the general public on the incident which took place on Monday 14th October 2024 at about 5:45pm.
According to the statement signed by the management, armed men identified as operatives of the EFCC barged into the studio and interrupted the live programme “Prime Time,” forcefully abducted presenters and took away communication equipment for reasons they refused to disclose.
“Whilst we are following up with the matter, we will continue to inform our dear listeners accordingly through this medium.
“Once again we apologize for the unethical break-in into our live studio and the disruption of your favourite programmes and hope that the matter will be resolved as soon as possible and for whatever the reasons.
