A cleric has urged Nigerians to cultivate the habits of thanksgiving and always appreciate God’s goodness in their lives, more so as the year is running to an end.
Pastor Gbenga Arowele of Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries, Chikakore Assembly, Kubwa, Abuja who made the call during a sermon at the 2024 Women Foundation Thanksgiving Service also tasked the political class to show much appreciation to the electorates with masses friendly policies in order to have a country of our dream.
According to him, “A grateful heart remains graceful heart as heart that appreciate always gets more blessings”.
Pastor Arowele quoting from 1st Timothy chapter 1 vs 16 — 18 noted that some people are found of not appreciative of whatever they received either from God or man stressing that these are rampant among couples.
Reading from the books of 1st kings and Luke, Pastor Arowele noted that gifts received by grateful heart always last and end up to the glory of God.
He told couples to be appreciative of one another to make their love life last the test of time.
There were series of thanksgiving offerings and praises and worship by the women wing of the church, showing their grateful heart to God for His faithfulness and kindness to them in the course of the outgoing year during the service.
