Eric Chelle, New Super Eagles Head Coach Targets AFCON, World Cup Trophies

Eric Chelle, the newly appointed head coach of the Nigerian national team, has addressed Nigerians with a bold statement that has stirred excitement among football fans in Nigeria.

The new Super Eagles handler stated this in his first official reaction to his appointment.

🗣️ “I am here to take the Nigerian national team to heights it has never reached before. My mission is to achieve what previous coaches could not. Before I leave this role, I will ensure Nigeria accomplishes the following: winning the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Morocco, qualifying for and excelling at the 2026 World Cup, and, if possible, claiming the 2030 World Cup title.

“Winning the World Cup has been a significant challenge for African teams, but I have developed a new strategy that I believe will change the game for the Nigerian national team. I am confident this approach will make us a force to reckon with on the global stage.
