The Ooni of Ife, Oba Enitan Ogunwusi, is reportedly preparing to take another wife, Titilayo Ashabi, which would make her his seventh wife.
DECENCY GLOBAL NEWS recalls that the Ooni, in a space of two months, married six women, between September and October 2022, shortly after his marriage to Naomi Silekunola failed in December 2021.
His first marriage during this period was to Mariam Anako, an Ebira native from Kogi State, on September 6, 2022. The following day, he wed Elizabeth Opeoluwa Akinmuda, an indigene of Ondo State. Tobi Phillips, hailing from Okitipupa in Ondo State, became his third wife on October 9, 2022.
On October 14, 2022, he married Ashley Afolashade Adegoke, a princess from Ile-Ife, and then on October 20, 2022, he took Ronke Ademiluyi, founder of African Fashion Week, Ronke Ademiluyi, who is the great-granddaughter of the 48th Ooni of Ife, Ajagun Ademiluyi as his fifth wife.
Finally, on October 24, 2022, Asake Temitope Morenike Adesegun was added as his sixth wife.
Barely 2 days after marrying 6th wife, Ooni of Ife reportedly set to marry 7th wife.
