Controversial Nigerian singer, Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable has given a stern warning to Nollywood actor Odunlade Adekola following his comments after hugging his babymama Ashabi Simple.
Odunlade Adekola recently linked up with Portable’s babymama, Ashabi Simple, during his visit to a movie set. Overjoyed to meet the box office king, Ashabi eagerly approached him and gave him a warm, tight hug.
While they were embracing, Odunlade Adekola playfully asked Ashabi if she had informed her partner, Portable, that she would be hugging him. In his words, “I use God beg you oo hope you have tell Portable you want to hug me.”
However, this did not seem to sit well with Portable, as he reportedly sent a direct message to Odunlade Adekola on Instagram, warning him to refrain from involving his family in any discussions.
Expressing his displeasure, Portable stated that he did not appreciate the way Odunlade Adekola spoke to Ashabi. He further emphasized that he doesn’t use his family to act movie.
He said, “Wetin you talk inside that video with Ashabi Simple pls I respect my home I no dey use am do movie why you go talk say Shay she tell me before coming jor shay una no dey collect money for her hand ni.
“I respect that’s why I come your DM. I no dey use home play. Why you go talk like that. Na today I dey see una.”
In response, Odunlade Adekola refuted Portable’s claim, stating that he will never disrespect his house. He replied, “My brother good evening, I am just seeing this now. I love you and I think you know that… I can never disrespect your home or disrespect you. Your family is my family. Ogo Nla. Reign forever.”
