‎‎Abuja To Host 4-Day Methodist Campus Fellowship International Convention, June 26

Methodist Campus Fellowship, National MCF would hold her International convention in Abuja from 26th to 29th June, 2025.

‎The venue for the Convention with theme “The Mandate” Mark 16: 15 is the Maryam Babangida National Center for Women Development, Abuja.

‎According to a statement signed by MCF National Coordinator, The Revd Olalekan Olomola, the International Convention is opened to Methodist students in institution of higher learnings especially members of Methodist Campus Fellowship in Nigeria and overseas with a token of Two Thousand Naira (N2,000) pre-registration using this link: bit.ly/IC-pre-registration while onsite registration is Three Thousand Naira (N3,000). Pre-registration would end on June 22nd 2025.

‎Dignitaries expected during the convention included a former Chief Justice of Nigeria, CJN, Sir Honourable Justice Walter Onnoghen KJW who would deliver the Keynote address at the official opening/plenary session of the Conference on Friday 27th June 2025.

‎Others include The Most Revd Dr Michael O. Akinwale,The Methodist Archbishop of Abuja; Rt Revd Kehinde Adeyemi PhD, Bishop, Diocese of Nyanya; Rt Revd Dr F. A.G. Onoja, Bishop, Diocese of Kubwa; Bishop Effiong Inyang (Methodist Bishop of Evangelism) and Bishop STV Adegbite, the Executive Director Nigeria Christian Pilgrimage Commission.

‎Also, expected in attendance are Bishop Evans Onyemara (General Secretary Christian Council of Nigeria, CCN); Bishop Edoka Amuta of Diocese of Makurdi and Bishop Samuel Nortey of the Diocese of Lagos Central.

‎Political leaders and technocrats expected include the Deputy Speaker House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Benjamin Kalu and the immediate Former Accountant General of the Federation, Dame Dr Oluwatoyin S. Maidein.

‎The convention, expected to elect the new National Executive  of the MCF would kick off on Friday with Eucharist service by 8am while the Convention Thanksgiving, handing over and induction of new national executives will take place at Cathedral of Unity, Wuse on Sunday 29th June by 7:30am.
