A former Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, has disclosed that Labour Party, LP, candidate, Peter Obi, won the 2023 presidential election in Rivers State.
Amaechi made the disclosure while speaking during an X Space discussion on Saturday.
“I can agree with you to some extent that Obi won Rivers State, but I don’t know how the results were changed,” Amaechi said.
Amaechi’s comments add another twist to the controversy over the outcome of the February 2023 election.
It would be recalled that findings by BBC and PremiumTimes showed that Obi won Rivers.

INEC declared that the APC garnered 231,591 votes in Rivers State, while LP polled 175,071 votes.
