The Supreme Court has reserved judgment in the appeal filed by the Governorship Candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Patrick Tonye-Cole, against the victory of Governor, Siminalayi Fubara in the March 18, 2023 Governorship Election.

Tonye-Cole alleges that Fubara failed to resign from his previous position as the Accountant General of the state within the required timeframe, making him ineligible to run for office.

A decision is expected by tomorrow, January 16.
