Chelsea were held to a 0-0 draw by Crystal Palace in their opening Premier League fixture of the season at the Stamford Bridge on Sunday.
Palace put up a resolute display at the back to frustrate Enzo Maresca’s men.
Eberechi Eze scored for Palace with a well-hit free kick in the first half.
The video assistant referee (VAR) and referee Darren England however ruled that Marc Guehi was too close to the Chelsea wall and it was ruled out.
Neither side came close to scoring from there as two well-drilled defences cancelled each other out.
Chelsea will travel to West Ham United for their next game on Friday.
Palace will host Nottingham Forest in their next Premier League game.
