Chelsea were held to a 0-0 draw by Crystal Palace in their opening Premier League fixture of the season at the Stamford Bridge on Sunday.

Palace put up a resolute display at the back to frustrate Enzo Maresca’s men.
‎Eberechi Eze  scored for Palace  with a well-hit free kick in the first half.

‎The video assistant referee (VAR) and referee Darren England however ruled that Marc Guehi was too close to the Chelsea wall and it was ruled out.

‎Neither side came close to scoring from there as two well-drilled defences cancelled each other out.
‎Chelsea will travel to West Ham United for their next game on Friday.

‎Palace will host Nottingham Forest in their next Premier League game.
