‎‎World Cup Play-Offs: Lookman, Ajayi Hit Eagles Camp


Ademola Lookman and Semi Ajayi were the latest two arrivals in the camp of the Super Eagles ahead of their 2026 World Cup Play-Offs.

‎According to camp sources, the two players joined the earlier 12 on Monday afternoon in the camp in Rabat, the capital of Morocco.

‎The Super Eagles are due to take on Gabon in the first match of the African qualifier in the World Cup Play-Offs on November 13, 2025.

‎They would then take on the winner of the match between Cameroon and the Democratic Republic of Congo on November 16, if they overcome the Gabonese challenge for the sole play-off ticket for Africa.

‎Other members of the Super Eagles team already in camp ahead of Ajayi and Lookman were Calvin Bassey, Alex Iwobi, Samuel Chukwueze, Tolu Arokodare, Olakunle Olusegun, and Wilfred Ndidi.

‎The rest are Moses Simon, Captain William Troost-Ekong, Benjamin Frederick, Chidozie Awaziem, Amas Obasogie, and Stanley Nwabali.
