‎EXCLUSIVE: Nigeria’s Super Eagles Knows Fate On FIFA Verdict On  World Cup Petition Feb. 15

Several top officials have given DECENCY GLOBAL NEWS the most likely date that world football governing body FIFA will rule on the Super Eagles petition on the eligibility of several players of DR Congo during a final 2026 World Cup Playoffs.

‎One of the top officials informed by DECENCY GLOBAL NEWS,“It’s most likely that FIFA will rule on this matter either February 15 or 16th.

‎“The initial date is 15th, but it’s a Sunday and it is not really a working day in Europe.

‎“But what is very clear is that the verdict is now very close.”

‎Nigeria have demanded that DR Congo be thrown out of the World Cup qualifiers because they fraudulently got several of their players to be cleared by FIFA to feature in the CAF Playoffs in November in Rabat, Morocco.

‎DRC edged past Nigeria on penalties after scores stood at 1-1 even after extra time in the final Playoffs.

‎The Chairman of the National Sports Commission (NSC), Shehu Dikko, has been bullish about The Super Eagles chances to replacing DRC in next month’s Intercontinental Playoffs fixed for Mexico.

‎He said Nigeria have a “tight” case, while citing the case of Malaysia, who recently had the results of some friendly matches overturned by FIFA after it was known that they fraudulently got some Brazilian players to feature for them.

‎DRC will battle the winners of the clash between Jamaica and New Caledonia for place at the Mundial in June to be staged in USA, Canada and Mexico.
