The National Population Commission on Sunday celebrated the Nigerian Women On the occasion of the International Women’s Day. The message:
“This International Women’s Day, we celebrate the strength, vision, and resilience of women across Nigeria; women whose contributions continue to shape our homes, communities and nation.
“At the National Population Commission, we reaffirm our commitment to empowering women and girls by generating credible demographic and geospatial data for evidence-based national planning and sustainable development.
“When women are counted, they are seen. When data tells their stories, it drives inclusive policies that uplift and empower them. By actively participating in national demographic exercises and providing accurate information, every citizen contributes to building development plans that recognize and realize the full potential of every woman.
