‎Music Icon 2baba Says ‘Nigeria Is Better Off Than Many Years Ago’

‎Music icon Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba, has expressed optimism about Nigeria’s development, stating that the country is better off now compared to previous years.

‎In a recent interview with Wazobia TV, 2Baba acknowledged that challenges persist, but emphasised that progress has been made.

‎When asked about his involvement in politics, 2Baba revealed he had previously supported a campaign in a neutral role and plans to continue contributing to the nation’s growth in his own way.

‎He described himself as a self-appointed ambassador for Nigeria.

‎He said, “We are better off than many years ago. Just look at it. It’s still ongoing, but I will continue doing it. I will set up my own position and try to make a difference. I’ll try to make it work because I know where I stand. I have personally appointed myself as an ambassador of Nigeria, an ambassador everywhere. I am a self-appointed ambassador of Nigeria everywhere.”

‎2Baba’s remarks come amid ongoing discussions about Nigeria’s socio-political landscape, with some critics citing his old song, “E Be Like Say,” as reflective of current issues.

‎However, the singer remains committed to positively representing the country through his music and actions.
