From Barr Daomi Family, a family friend of the celebrant:
THIS MORNING IS NOT JUST A MORNING.
IT IS A CALL.
A GATHERING.
A CELEBRATION OF LIFE IN MOTION.
WHO CELEBRATES A MAN… AND REMAINS INDOORS?
Today is his day.
Not tomorrow.
Not later.
*Today.*
And what is a birthday… if not life expressed?
What is sixty years… if not grace in full bloom?
What is impact… if not people rising, walking, rejoicing?
Why celebrate *Pastor Professor Durodola Olujide Ajani* in silence?
Why honour a man of movement… with stillness?
Why salute a builder of lives… and remain spectators?
*No.*
Today demands more.
Today calls for presence.
Today calls for movement.
Because the man we celebrate is not a man who sat still.
He walked.
He laboured.
He built.
He gave.
He poured himself into lives… into children… into families… into futures.
And so, this morning…
We do not merely gather.
*We move.*
*DOBAR FAMILY WELLNESS WALK.*
What is it?
Is it just a walk?
No.
It is a symbol.
A reflection of a life that has kept others going.
A reminder that health is wealth.
That life must be lived… actively… joyfully… gratefully.
Parents.
Students.
Friends.
Families.
This is your moment.
Come out.
Step out.
Show up.
Let your feet testify.
Let your presence speak.
There will be movement.
There will be laughter.
There will be light exercise.
There will be free health checks—blood pressure, sugar levels—because the man we celebrate cares not only about your mind… but your body.
There will be music.
There will be refreshment.
There will be joy.
Pure joy.
And as we walk…
We remember.
That this same man has walked countless journeys for others.
Walked students into classrooms.
Walked the less privileged into opportunities.
Walked souls into purpose.
Walked families into hope.
So, this morning…
Let us walk for him.
Let us walk with him.
Let us walk because of him.
Sixty years of life.
Twenty years of raising minds.
Eight years of building souls.
Can such a life be celebrated casually?
*Impossible.*
Come out.
Bring your family.
Bring your children.
Bring your energy.
Bring your gratitude.
And as you step out today…
Say it in your heart:
“This walk… is more than fitness.”
“This walk… is thanksgiving.”
“This walk… is honour.”
Happy 60th Birthday, *Pastor Prof. Dorudola Olujide Ajani.*
A man who teaches by living.
A man who builds by giving.
A man who leads by serving.
And to all who hear this call…
I ask again:
*Who celebrates such a man… and stays at home?*
_*With all the love from Daomi Family*_
