Fake Prophecy: Cameroonians Attack Popular Pastor Who Prophesied That They Will Defeat Nigeria 3-1

A Cameroonian prophet, Abiri Elijah, also known as ‘The Prophet of Fire’, is currently under verbal attacks from his fellow countrymen who are not not happy with his failed prophecy about the AFCON knockout game against Nigeria.

Prophet Abiri had prophesied that Cameroon will beat Nigeria 3-1 in the match.

In a post on his Facebook page, the prophet also directed Rigobert Song and Samuel Eto’o (Cameroonian legends) to let the players use Olive Oil and Salt to bath in a bucket before the game.

The prophet who is the founder of Jesus Alive Ministry International, a church located in Crystal Garden Limbe, Cameroon, is renowned for giving far-fetched prophecies.

Reacting to the defeat, Cameroonians stormed his Facebook page alongside Nigerians and rained abuses on him while calling him out.

The Super Eagles of Nigeria will now face Angola in the next round of the ongoing African Cup of Nations in Cote d’Ivoire.

Decisively, Ademola Lookman’s brace gave Nigeria the win over the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon in a hard-fought game.

Moreover, the Super Eagles remain unbeaten in the tournament.

The Super Eagles manager, Jose Peseiro’s remarks following Nigeria’s win reads: “Our football sometimes is incredible. We play well. Today we created less but we scored two goals.”

Asked whether Nigeria’s level might drop against a smaller side like Angola after appearing to play better against bigger nations, he responded: “See, I want to just win every game. I don’t know what Nigerians think about names in football but if we are to defeat Angola, we must play like today.”
