The end has not come to the ripples that followed the collapse of Television host, Frank Edoho’s second marriage as a fellow media personality Tega Dominic on Friday denied allegations linking her romantically to television host Frank Edoho, after his ex-wife, Sandra, renewed claims of extramarital affairs during their marriage.
In a public statement, Dominic said her relationship with Edoho was strictly platonic and limited to professional and industry interactions.
“I honestly did not want to speak on this because I have spent a long time trying to stay away from unnecessary drama, but at this point, my silence is no longer helping,” the statement reads.
“I have absolutely no s3xual or emotional relationship with Frank Edoho”, she wrote.
She stated that they began communicating around the middle of the previous year following a birthday message he sent to her mother, and that they had been familiar with each other through social media prior to that.
“Frank is a great guy and a very good friend of mine. We started talking around mid-last year after he sent birthday wishes to my mum.
“Like many people in the industry, we already knew each other through social media and mutual familiarity. He is also my kingsman. There was never anything inappropriate between Us”, she added.
Dominic clarified that the only time she met with the broadcaster in person was in the presence of her manager, Paul Ukonu.
She maintained that there was nothing inappropriate about their association and that she had no reason to conceal any details.
Frank Edoho confirms two-year private separation amid divorce proceedings
“The first and only time I hung out with Frank was with my manager, Paul Ukonu, present. I have absolutely nothing to hide.
“And honestly, if I ever had anything to do with Frank romantically, I would say it with my full chest.
“He was separated at the time, and I am also separated. If you know me, you know I have never been the type to hide or sneak around. I say things exactly as they are.”
She said the accusations threatened a reputation she had built over years and that she was considering legal steps in response.
Dominic called for those making the claims to provide evidence and said the matter would be handled by her legal representatives going forward.
The former reality television star described the situation as distressing and indicated that this would be her final public comment on the issue.
“I have worked too hard to build myself and my brand step by step to allow false accusations stain my name like this. I owe it to my family, friends, supporters, and the reputable brands I work with to protect my reputation,” she added.
“I believe it is important for evidence to be provided because I will not let this slide. My name cannot be dragged carelessly into false narratives.
“This has honestly been very upsetting for me, but moving forward, my lawyers will handle the matter appropriately. There will be consequence”, she concluded.
