The induction service of The Very Revd Job James Agbo as Presbyter, Gwarimpa Circuit of Abuja Diocese/Archdiocese of Methodist Church Nigeria would hold on Sunday, September 27th 2026.
According to a statement made available to DECENCY GLOBAL NEWS, the service which would be officiated by the Archbishop of Abuja, The Most Revd Dr Michael Olusegun Akinwale would hold at Liberation Methodist Church, 1st Avenue Gwarimpa by 9am.
Very Rev. Agbo Job James who holds a Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Administration and Planning from the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN), hailed from Ipole Oko, Orokam District, Ogbadibo Local Government Area, Benue State.
He began his ministerial journey as an Evangelist, serving from 2004 to 2006.
He subsequently attended the Methodist Theological Institute, Sagamu, from 2006 to 2008, for theological training.
Following his theological education, he was commissioned a Deacon and served in that capacity from 2008 to 2011.
He was ordained a Priest in 2011 and served as a Priest until 2022.
In 2022, he was preferred to the office of Presbyter, a position he has continued to hold to date.
Throughout his ministerial career, Very Rev. Agbo Job James has served God and the Methodist Church Nigeria in various locations, including: Kagini, Kuje, Ito, Lugbe, Ajaokuta, Byhazi, Dutse-Alhaji, Lugbe Across, and Gwarinpa.
Very Rev. Agbo Job James is a devoted servant of God and a minister of the Methodist Church Nigeria. Over the years, he has demonstrated commitment to preaching the Gospel, pastoral ministry, evangelism, Christian education, discipleship, counselling and church leadership.
