Security agencies, including the military, Department of State Services (DSS) and the police, have rescued 20 prospective National Youth Service Corps, (NYSC) members and a civilian who were kidnapped in Imo State.

‎The victims were rescued during an intelligence-led operation carried out jointly by the security agencies.

‎The operation led to the safe recovery of the 21 victims, who are currently receiving medical attention at a DSS facility in the state.

‎The authorities have not disclosed further details about the circumstances of the abduction or the operation that led to their rescue.
