‎Sunday Sermon: “I Will Fight for You” – “Men of the Valour” By Rt. Rev. J. O. Kehinde Adeyemi Ph.D

‎Text: Exodus 14:14

‎Exodus 14:14, The Lord declares: “The Lord shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace.”

‎As Men of the Valour, there is need for us to put courage, faith, responsibility, and unwavering commitment to God in the face of life’s battles as our priorities.

‎HIGHLIGHTS TO NOTE:

‎1. Men Must Take Responsibility for Their Battles

‎Men need to take responsibility for the battles they face in their families, the Church, their workplaces, and society.

‎Being a man of God requires courage, accountability, and readiness to confront life’s challenges with faith and determination.

‎2. God Has Already Gone Ahead of Us

‎God is able to fight our battles and make a way where there seems to be no way. However, as men, we must remain steadfast in faith and trust in His power, promises, and unfailing presence.

‎3. Fear Discourages, but Faith Strengthens

‎Beloved, fear is one of the greatest obstacles to victory because it discourages people from taking action and trusting God. In contrast, faith gives believers the confidence to move forward, even when circumstances appear impossible.

‎As men, we need to reject fear and embrace the assurance that God can make a way and fight for those who put their trust in Him.

‎4. Men of the Valour Must Be Courageous and Faithful

‎Men need to live up to their responsibility to carry the valour of faith, leadership, service, and godly influence to the next generation.

‎You must remain committed to God’s service, knowing that divine strength is available to those who faithfully and wholeheartedly serve Him

‎CONCLUSION: A CALL TO GODLY MANHOOD

‎Men must become sources of strength, encouragement, and godly leadership in their homes, the Church, and society.

‎Every man need to return with a renewed commitment to prayer, integrity, courage, encouragement, and unwavering trust in God.

‎The church and the society need men who will stand firm in the face of adversity, take responsibility for their duties, and lead by example.

‎Though, God has promised to fight for His people, men must rise above fear, exercise faith, fulfil their responsibilities, and remain faithful in His service.

‎May the men of the Methodist Church Nigeria Men’s Fellowship, Northern Region, continue to stand as courageous soldiers of Christ, carrying the valour of faith and leadership with honour and dedication.
