Embattled Deputy Governor of Edo State, Philip Shaibu, on Thursday penned a special birthday message to Senator Adams Oshiomhole.
Shaibu, who is currently facing impeachment proceedings initiated by the Edo State House of Assembly, described Oshiomhole as a great father and leader.
DECENCY GLOBAL NEWS reports that Shaibu and Oshiomhole were close allies in the All Progressives Congress before the former dumped the APC alongside his principal, Governor Godwin Obaseki for the Peoples Democratic Party on the heels of the 2020 gubernatorial election in the state
But in a message posted on his verified Facebook page on Thursday to celebrate Oshiomhole’s birthday, Shaibu, who is now at dagger-drawn with Obaseki, said the Edo North Senator’s contributions to mankind need to be fully appreciated.
