The United Kingdom (UK) Chapter of the All Progressive Grand Alliance, APGA has unanimously endorsed Anambra state Governor, Prof. Charles Chukwuma Soludo, for what they termed “Unopposed Continuity in 2025”.
The Chapter in a statement signed by Peter Odirachukwu Ezekeli (Sympathy-DeMayor), the Publicity Secretary, APGA UK Chapter and
Chief Richard Ugochukwu Ilorah (Ebekuodike), the Chairman, APGA UK Chapter sent to DECENCY GLOBAL NEWS stated unequivocally that “Given the Governor’s exceptional achievements within this short period, we, the APGA UK Chapter, call upon our esteemed National Chairman, Barr. Sly Ezeokenwa, his national working committee (NWC),the Board of Trustees (BOT), and all APGA members to rally behind Governor Soludo.
“We appeal for a peaceful consensus that would grant him a certificate of return without a primary election for the Anambra 2025 gubernatorial election. This move will not only recognize his outstanding Governor Soludo has taken bold steps in restoring peace and security, ensuring that the people of Anambra can live and thrive without fear.”

APGA UK Chapter Commends Governor Charles Soludo’s Transformational Leadership in Anambra State
We, the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) UK Chapter, proudly stand in full support of the Executive Governor of Anambra State, Professor Charles Chukwuma Soludo, for the remarkable leadership and transformational strides he is making in Anambra State. “Igbo hụ na anya, Igbo ekwere!” We have seen, we believe, and we acknowledge that Governor Soludo is indeed a talk-and-do leader.
His unwavering commitment to the Onye Aghana Nwanne Ya philosophy of APGA is evident in his governance. The tremendous progress in infrastructure development, education, healthcare, youth development ( one youth 2skills), most significantly, the fight against insecurity, speaks volumes of his dedication to the well-being of Ndi Anambra Under his leadership, criminals, kidnappers, and fraudulent elements have no hiding place in Anambra. Governor Soludo has taken bold steps in restoring peace and security, ensuring that the people of Anambra can live and thrive without fear.
We thank God for blessing Igbo land, particularly Anambra State, with a visionary leader like Prof. Soludo. His governance is cleansing the land and setting a solid foundation for sustainable development. We pray for God’s continued guidance, protection, and wisdom upon him. Amen!
A Call for Unopposed Continuity in 2025
Given the Governor’s exceptional achievements within this short period, we, the APGA UK Chapter, call upon our esteemed National Chairman, Barr. Sly Ezeokenwa, his national working committee (NWC),the Board of Trustees (BOT), and all APGA members to rally behind Governor Soludo. We appeal for a peaceful consensus that would grant him a certificate of return without a primary election for the Anambra 2025 gubernatorial election. This move will not only recognize his outstanding performance but also ensure continuity in the accelerated development of Anambra State.
Anambra is on the fast track to becoming a model state in Nigeria. We must not allow any distractions or backwards steps. Therefore, anyone who truly prioritizes the interests of Ndi Anambra should not contemplate contesting against Governor Soludo in the upcoming election. Instead, those with valuable ideas should approach him directly—he is a listening leader who values progressive contributions.
Let us all unite under the competent and visionary leadership of Governor Soludo to move Anambra to the next level—a state comparable to Dubai and America!
