‎‎Appointment: Group Hails NPC Chairman, Dr. Aminu Yusuf, For Appointing Stanley Nwosu As Media Aide

‎The Anambra People Media Group has commended the Chairman of the National Population Commission (NPC), Dr. Aminu Yusuf (Talban Wushishi), for appointing Mr. Stanley Nwosu as his Special Assistant on Media.

‎In a statement issued on Friday, the group praised Dr. Yusuf for his foresight in recognizing and appointing an illustrious son of Anambra State to his team.

‎They described Dr. Yusuf as a visionary leader who understands the value of competence and communication expertise in driving his Seven-Point Agenda for the transformation of the NPC.

‎According to the statement, the appointment of Mr. Nwosu is well-deserved, given his outstanding record as a communication strategist, public relations expert, and media professional with over two decades of experience.

‎The group noted that Stanley Nwosu is a respected public intellectual and prolific writer who has published extensively on a variety of subjects.

‎They highlighted his sterling performance as Sports Editor of UNIZIK Comet Magazine and Editor of NPC News Magazine, describing his editorial leadership as exemplary.

‎Mr. Nwosu holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication from Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka; a Master’s degree in Political Economy and Development Studies from the University of Abuja; and is currently pursuing a PhD in the same field at the University of Abuja.

‎He is a certified and committed member of Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR), Nigeria’s chartered professional body for PR practitioners.

‎Mr. Nwosu hails from Agulu in Anaocha Local Government Area of Anambra State.

‎Before this appointment, he served as Head of New Media at the NPC Headquarters, Abuja, where he played a key role in advancing the Commission’s digital communication efforts and publicity campaigns.

‎As the Special Assistant on Media to the NPC Chairman, Mr. Nwosu is expected to manage and promote the public image of the Chairman and the Commission, ensuring the dissemination of timely, accurate, and engaging information to foster public trust in NPC data and Nigeria’s population management processes.

‎The Anambra People Media Group expressed confidence that Mr. Nwosu will bring exceptional professionalism, creativity, and dedication to his new role.
