The office of the Senate President, Senator Godswill Obot Akpabio has dismissed the “fake reports” by some online media that he has been hospitalized in London.
In a WhatsApp chat with DECENCY GLOBAL NEWS on Thursday, the Deputy Chief of Staff of the Senate President, Hon. Saviour Enyiekere, dismissed the news story stating that Senate President Akpabio is hale and healthy.
According to him, “My oga is doing very well. Ignore evil reports”.
Earlier, an online media, (Not DECENCY GLOBAL NEWS) had published that Senate President Godswill Akpabio has been hospitalized in London due to an emergency medical situation, quoting multiple sources that confirmed the development.
”The incident occurred while he was returning from Geneva, Switzerland, where he attended a parliamentary event. Akpabio reportedly made a sudden detour to London to seek urgent medical attention.
Details of his condition remain unclear as of press time, but sources within and outside his office confirmed the emergency,” the said report expatiated.
