The Bishop of Sokoto Diocese, Bishop Mathew Hassan Kukah, has dissociated himself with a story currently going viral on social media, crediting with comments relating to Biafra.
This is contained in a statement signed by Revd. Fr. Pascal Sa’idu, Director, Department of Social Communication, Catholic Diocese of Sokoto and made available to newsmen on Tuesday.
The statement reads, “There is a spurious and untitled piece credited to me about Biafra that is enjoying wide circulation on the social media and the cyber space”
He further said, ” I have nothing to do with it ” he added
The Bishop of Sokoto Diocese however enjoined the general public to disregard the piece in its entirety.
