All is definitely unwell with the 12-year-old marriage of accomplished and highly decorated music star, Innocent ‘2Baba’ Idibia and Annie Idibia.
The couple, it was gathered, have been managing a storm in their marriage of over 12 years but have also been able to manage the situation.
In 2019, the couple had a meltdown where 2Baba went on his social media account to share apologies for allegedly cheating on Annie but the messages were deleted and the Afropop singer claimed his account was hacked and nothing was wrong with his marriage.
However, shortly after the meltdown, another rumour was quickly spread around that the father of seven had put a banker in a family way. The rumour was quickly shut down by his management team and denied by 2Baba himself.
Few weeks ago, the rumour mill had been agog with tales of Annie battling to stay off substance abuse. A TV series, Rich, Famous, and African, which features Annie and Tuface alongside other African celebs further gave life to the rumour of substance abuse as fans and social media users wondered if Annie is truly battling with substance abuse and addiction.
Over the weekend, as the rumour of Annie’s alleged addiction and substance abuse continued to spread like a wild inferno, a video of Tuface confirming a separation and an impending divorce surfaced online.
The video and Instagram post by the African Queen singer claimed he had separated from Annie and both of them are working towards a divorce. After some hours, the videos and social media posts were deleted.
Subsequently, popular show presenter and celebrity, Toke Makinwa, allegedly took a swipe at someone, who has been reported to be Tuface, for deciding to leave or announce their separation at Annie’s lowest time.
It was further alleged by an online platform that Annie is currently in a very bad state and allegedly currently in a rehabilitation centre.
