Engage In Profitable Ventures, Shun Illicit Activities – Anglican Cleric Urges Nigerian Youths

A clergy man, Venerable Dr Samuel Akale, on Sunday tasked Nigerian Youths to always put their mental and physical efforts on profitable ventures at all times and not on get rich quick syndrome like yahoo, yahoo plus, gambling, drugs and other illicit social engagements.

Venerable Dr Akale, the Vicar of St Barnabas Anglican Church, Byazhin, Kubwa, Abuja gave the charge in his sermon titled, “Building and Developing habit that foster healthy Christian life; Doing Exploit for Jesus.”

He stressed the need for Nigerians to put on more resilient spirit in spite of the current socio-economic challenges.

The cleric noted that Nigerians have been identified with the spirit of zealousness, uprightness, focus and dedication over the past years, hence their coming our with excellent results in many fields of endeavours both at home and abroad.

Dr Akale who cited cases of those who rise from grass to grace through dint of hard work in both social and spiritual lives, cautioned Nigeria youths not to be perturbed by the current socio-political and economic challenges but put more efforts and be dedicated to whatever they are doing.

Buttressing his points with Proverbs chapter 13 vs 4 noted that only the hardworking man, benefits from God’s favour and blessings while the sluggards and slothful remain in penury.

The Vicar told Christians to determine to do exploit for God in order to share from divine fortunes and tap from natural resources of their state or Nation.

He opined that corruption thrives in the country because many Nigerians have cultivated the habit of laziness.
