One of the wives of former governor of Oyo State, Oba Rashidi Ladoja, Mrs Tinuade Ladoja, is dead.
Tinuade, 71, died in the early hours of Monday after a brief illness.
Until her demise, she was an influential member of the Pastor-in-Council of Celestial Church of Christ (CCC), the highest decision-making body of the church.
The Celestial Church of Christ, Ikeja Parish 1 Cathedral, the parish Tinuade was attending confirmed her death in a post on its Facebook page.
In the Facebook post, the church wrote: “It is He who has made us, and not we ourselves; We are His people and the sheep of His pasture.
“We submit to his will #farewell.”
