Portable’s recent comments about President Bola Ahmed Tinubu being his best president has sparked controversy among fans, DECENCY GLOBAL NEWS reports.
The singer in recent video on Instagram, praised Tinubu’s leadership, stating that Nigeria improved under his tenure and that he’s the best president since Portable’s birth.
In his words: “Since dey don born me, dem dey say ‘Nigeria go better, na Tinubu tenure make Nigeria better las las, he’s the best president so far.”
However, this isn’t the first time Portable has made headlines for his comments on politics.
Recently, he faced backlash for his remarks on former President Muhammadu Buhari’s death, where he accused Buhari of ordering the Lekki Toll Gate shooting during the #EndSARS protests and wished him ill in the afterlife.
