Akwa Ibom State Governor, Pastor Umo Eno, has responded to recent criticisms from Labour Party chieftain and Nollywood actor, Kenneth Okonkwo, following the Governor’s defection to the All Progressives Congress, (APC).
Okonkwo had taken a swipe at Governor Eno, likening him to a “transgenderic in politics” and calling him “a man in woman form” — remarks that sparked controversy and drew wide public attention.
Addressing a crowd of supporters at the Akwa Ibom International Airport, Governor Eno did not mince words in his reply. He described Kenneth Okonkwo as “a failed lawyer, a failed actor, and a failed politician still living in bondage.”
“What is happening in Akwa Ibom is reality,” the Governor stated. “Joining the APC is within my constitutional right. Kenneth Okonkwo should focus on his own state and personal issues.”
