A heavily pregnant woman has died while fighting with her neighbor in Ugep town, Yakurr Local Government Area of Cross River State.

Journalist, Agba Jalingo, confirmed the incident in a Facebook post.

“The deceased woman’s child was said to have picked a fight with a neighbour’s child, which later degenerated into a fisticuffs between the deceased and her neighbor,” he wrote.

“The deceased who was heavily pregnant lost her life in the process. It is not clear if the police have intervened.”
