Business Mogul who is a former Chairman of MTN Nigeria, Pascal Gabriel Dozie, doubled also as the founder of the now-defunct Diamond Bank Plc has passed away at the age of 85.
According to family sources, Pascal Gabriel Dozie passed away in the early hours of Tuesday, April 8, 2025, just one day before his 86th birthday, after a battle with an age-related illness.
Dozie was widely recognized as the founder of Diamond Bank, one of Nigeria’s most innovative financial institutions, which later merged with Access Bank.
He served as the bank’s chairman until he handed over the leadership to his son, Uzoma Dozie.
