JUST IN: Controversies Trail Former Immigration Comptroller-General, Parradang’s Death

Controversies are trailing the death of former Comptroller-General of the Nigerian Immigration Service, (NIS), David Shikfu Parradang, DECENCY GLOBAL NEWS reports.

While earlier media reports indicated that Parradang was killed by kidnappers, Nigeria Police however said he died after seeing his mistress in an hotel in Abuja.

According to the police command in the Federal Capital Territory, (FCT), David Parradang, former comptroller-general (CG) of the Nigerian Immigration Service (NIS), died in a hotel after a visit from a female guest.

In a statement, Josephine Adeh, spokesperson of the FCT police command, said contrary to media reports, Parradang was found dead at Joy House Hotel, Area 3 Junction, Abuja, in the early morning of Tuesday.

Earlier, reports indicate that the deceased was killed after being abducted in Abuja on Monday night.

CG David Parradang spent over 30 years in public service at the Nigerian Immigration Service, having worked across the country in Kano, Lagos, Kwara, Enugu, and the Federal Capital Territory.
