The Super Eagles of Nigeria dropped one position in the latest men’s ranking released by the Federation of International Football Association, FIFA, DECENCY GLOBAL NEWS reports.
The ranking was updated on FIFA’s website on Thursday.
Previously ranked 43rd, the Super Eagles are now in 44th position.
They however rose up one position in Africa, moving from sixth to fifth position.
Eric Chelle’s side were in action only once during the month under review, holding Russia to a 1-1 draw at the Luzhniki Stadium, Moscow.
Morocco, Senegal, Egypt, and Algeria occupy the top four position on the continent.
World champions La Albiceleste of Argentina stayed top of the ranking.
