Man, 30, Docked For Engaging Neighbour’s Girl, 14, In Sex Romp After Fondling Her Breasts

A 30-year old man, Kunle Adewuyi, has landed in trouble in Lagos State after he allegedly lured his neighbour’s 14-year old girl into sex repeatedly by fondling her breasts and she was unable to resist him.

DECENCY GLOBAL NEWS reports that the suspect, Adewuyi, has been arrested and charged for defilement, which attracts several years of imprisonment or life imprisonment.

The incident happened at Ismaila Ajibade Street, off Princess Abiola Street, Council bus stop, Idimu area of Lagos, where they reside.

According to the Police, the suspect had on several occasions, lured the victim into the act by targeting and fondling her breasts, which makes it difficult for the girl to resist it.

This had continued until 24th April, 2024, when he did it and was caught. The victim then revealed what has been happening to her. The matter was reported to the Police at Idimu Division. The suspect was arrested and transferred to the Gender Section of the State Command for interrogation.

During interrogation, the girl revealed that the suspect had done it repeatedly by touching her breasts and engaging her in sex while warning her not to tell anyone about it.

The Police found the suspect culpable and consequently charged him before the Ogba Magistrate Court for the alleged offence.

The Court did not take his plea when he was arraigned following a motion moved by the prosecutor, Inspector Lucky Ihiehie, asking the Court to refer the matter to the DPP for legal advice.

The Presiding Magistrate, Mrs. O.A. Layinka, ordered his remand in custody at the correctional centre at Kirikiri town, Lagos, pending the outcome of the DPP’s advice and directed the prosecutor to duplicate the file and send it to the DPP.

The matter was adjourned 16th July, 2024, for mention for the report of the DPP’s advice to be ready, which will determine if the matter will be transferred to the High Court or not over jurisdiction.
