A young man reportedly returning from Winners Chapel’s annual convention (Shiloh) in Ota, Ogun State caused some commotion at the weekend after he accused a man of stealing his penis.
A mob immediately gathered and descended on the man who was with his own son during the incident.
A video of the incident sight by DECENCY GLOBAL NEWS, shows the man being repeatedly beaten up by the irate mob who asked him to restore the ‘stolen’ penis.
Some police operatives arrived and cuffed the suspect, but it did not prevent the mob from assaulting him.
Though, during interrogation, he continued to express his innocence, imploring the crowd not to kill him over what he knew nothing about.
“You go just kill me for nothing, I no touch am,” he said in pidgin as some men continued to beat him.
His frightened son was spared the severe beating but was forced to sit on the ground with his father at some point.
The video of the incident is trending on X, and has generated lots of reactions.
