‎‎Marriage: Pastor Counsels Christians As Happiness Weds Gabriel

Christian faithfuls have been urged to always be conscious of the second coming of Jesus Christ in all their dealings here on earth.

Pastor Debo Oyinleye of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, Power House Assembly, Kurudu, Abuja gave the charge in a sermon during the solemnization of Holy Matrimony between Happiness Edebo Matthew and Gabriel Obute Agbo Michael a.k.a MC Happy Happy held at the All Christian Fellowship Headquarters, Nyanya, Abuja.

Pastor Oyinleye who titled the message: “The three different weddings”, described Jesus’ second coming as the marriage of the Lamb with the Redeemed of God, those who accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour and were set apart for Him while on earth, living a holy life.

‎He narrated that there was a wedding in Cana of Galilee where Jesus was invited as recorded in the gospel of John chapter 2 vs 2 adding that the marriage of Happiness and Gabriel is another wedding while the return of Jesus Christ for the second coming to rapture the faithful is another wedding, urging the congregation not to lose sight of the wedding but prepare to be rapturable and reign with Jesus Christ forever.

‎He counseled Christian couples to first see themselves as brothers and sisters before visualizing themselves as husbands and wives, noting that this would help them to treat one another with the love of God.

Quoting extensively from Ephesisans chapter 5 vs 15, 22 and 28, the cleric stated that both the wife and husband have huge responsibilities to one another  as enunciated by God, the author of marriage.

‎He warned the couple against hiding anything from one another stressing that openness in marriage is the key to marital bliss.

Pastor Oyinleye reminded both Happiness and Gabriel that the marriage institution they just signed into is a life time affairs and then prayed to God to sustain the new union.

There was exchange of vows later and the signing of marriage register.

Highlights of the service was the special anthem by the All Christian Fellowship Choir and special thanksgiving by the new couple.
