*** Sir Dr Dele Taiwo Emerges New Scribe
The Methodist Church Nigeria Council of Knights, Lagos Chapter has elected a new set of officers to pilot her affairs for the next three years.

The incumbent, Dame Tope Tychus KJW was re-elected as the Chairperson of Lagos Council while Sir Dr Dele Taiwo KJW emerges the New Secretary.
The Council held their election at Trinity Church Council Tinubu, Lagos on Thursday 12th February.
In her acceptance speech, the Chairperson Dame Tope Tychus thanked the immediate past officers for their dedication, selfless service, and steadfast commitment in the out gone years.
”Their leadership, sacrifices, and contributions have strengthened the Chapter and laid a solid foundation for continued growth and progress,” Dame Tychus emphasized.
She was truly grateful for the time, effort, and wisdom they have invested and thanked them for serving with distinctions and welcome the newly elected officers on board and pray for wisdom and good health for them to serve the Lord.
Earlier, the chairman of the Electoral Committee, Sir Dr Emanuel Babajide Awolesi KJW said each office has a candidate nomination, therefore, there was no need to waste time in respect of voting as all the Candidates were returned unopposed.
Other elected officers of the Council included: Sir Teju Ogunjimi as Vice Chairman, Dame Arinade Odulate as Assistant Secretary.
Treasurer is Dame Taiwo Ige; Financial Secretary, Dame Jumoke Latunde-Lawal; Auditor, Dame Yewande George; Welfare/Publicity Secretary is Dame Yewande Akapo while Dame Adebisi Soluade is the Social Secretary.
