Nigeria’s Premier Church, Methodist Church Nigeria would host her annual National Convention between February 4th and 8th 2025.
Venue is Wesley High School, Otukpo, Benue State. The theme of the Convention is “He will Rise Again”, John 11:23b.
According to a statement by the Chairman, Media and Publicity Sub-committee of the Convention, His Grace, Most Revd Dr MIT Simeon JP, the Archbishop of Igede Archdiocese, Ministers Fire Conference will kickstart the convention on February 4th to 5th.
The general convention involving all Methodists throughout the Conference Area would run from February 5th to 8th 2025.
According to him, the Convention promises to be a refreshing and unforgettable experience as it would feature prayer quake, healing, salvation and lots more.
The Prelate, Methodist Church Nigeria, His Eminence Dr Oliver Ali Aba JP would lead the team of dynamic and Holy Ghost filled men of God that would minister during the five days Convention.
Others included the Conference Lay President and Chairman of the Central Planning Committee of the National Convention, Sir Ide Ifeanyi N. Okechukwu; the Secretary of the Conference, Rt Rev Dr Babatunde Abiodun Taiwo JP, TFG; Rt Rev Dr Inyang Okon Effing, the Bishop of Evangelism and Discipleship and the Senior Pastor of Dunamis International Gospel Center, Pastor Dr Paul Enenche.
The Archbishop of Ebonyi, His Grace, Most Rev Dr Chikwendu Ogan Igwe, JP, FCAI; Bishop of Nsukka, Rt Rev Dr John O. Ezeh and His Grace, Most Rev Joshua Y. Ngbede, the Archbishop of Benue Archdiocese who is also the Chief Host of the Convention with other several anointed men of God.
All Methodists from all the over 110 Dioceses and over 20 Archdioceses of the Church throughout the length and breadth of the country and Diaspora are expected at the convention.
