***Kick Against Comrade Emelieze Continued Incarceration, Wage Award Payment Default
Federal Workers Forum, FWF, has called her members out for a nationwide protests against hardship and injustice.
Venue is all Federal Secretariats nationwide.

According to a statement, the protests would kick start by 8am same time across the nation to demand for the immediate payment of four months wage award owed federal workers since last year as well as unconditional release of FWF National Coordinator, Comrade Andrew Uche Emelieze, who had been in the custody of the Department of State Service for almost two weeks now.

Other demand included a Living wage as N70,000 can no longer transport workers to heir working places.
It would be recalled that the group had been calling for an end to the continued persecution of Comrade Emelieze by the Department of State Services (DSS).
The forum had last week made a request in a press statement signed by the Secretary, Federal Workers Forum (FWF), Pharm Itoro Obong and made available to DECENCY GLOBAL NEWS for the release of the Comrade to no avail.
”The FWF hereby gives the DSS a 48-hour ultimatum to release Comrade Andrew Uche Emelieze. Failure to do so will compel us to embark on radical actions in defence of our rights and dignity, the statement stated.
FWF recalled that “On 3rd July, the Department of State Services (DSS) arrested Comrade Andrew Uche Emelieze of the Federal Workers Forum (FWF) for the second time. He was first arrested on 30th June, on the eve of the planned national protest organised by the FWF over the issues of minimum wage and wage awards.
DECENCY GLOBAL NEWS reports that the Federal Government has persistently defaulted on the payment of the agreed minimum wage.
