Multi-Million Naira Properties Destroyed As Fire Guts Lagos Market

Fire has razed a two-storey building at Dosunmu Market in the Lagos Island Local Government Area of Lagos State.

DECENCY GLOBAL NEWS gathered that the incident occurred on Tuesday around 11:10 am.

The Head, Public Education, Lagos State Fire Service, Amodu Sjakiru, confirmed the incident to journalists.

He also disclosed that Lagos State Fire Service personnel are currently at the scene to prevent the escalation of the fire.

“Fire Service personnel are currently on the ground to stop the fire and stop any further casualties. The fire affected two-storey buildings. Details about the fire will be shared soon,” he said.

The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained.
