***Prof Ali Pate Assures Of Collaboration To Achieve Govt Programmes
The Coordinating Minister of Health and Social Welfare, Prof. Muhammad Ali Pate, on Thursday assured the National Coalition of Apostles, Bishops, Archbishops and Cardinals of Nigeria, NCABAC, led by Cardinal Olusegun Roberts that his ministry would work in conjunction with NCABAC when the need arises to collaborate with inter-faith organizations for the actualization of President Bola Tinubu renewed hope agenda and in carrying the message to the populace.
The Minister stated this while receiving the delegation of the National Coalition of Apostles, Bishops, Archbishops and Cardinals of Nigeria in his office in Abuja.
Prof Ali Pate lauded the initiative behind the establishment of NCABAC and urged the group not to relent in disseminating the federal government laudable policies to their congregants.
Earlier, the National Leader and Founder of the National Coalition of Apostles, Bishops, Archbishops and Cardinals of Nigeria, NCABAC, Cardinal Olusegun Roberts represented during the visit by Bishop Ojo Israel, had itemized the numerous achievements of the Ministry of Health since August 2023 when Prof Ali Pate.
This included Revitalization & Infrastructure Upgrade which saw to the release of Over ₦20 billion to rehabilitate and upgrade 4,362 PHCs across 19 northern states and the FCT, with similar projects initiated in the South.
NCABAC said the Honourable Minister is a star among the team of President Tinubu’s cabinet of Ministers haven been named among TIME’s 100 Most Influential People in Global Health for 2025 and inclusion in the Devex Power 50 early this year which is a testament to his relentless advocacy for upgrading of Nigeria’s health sector.
Bishop Ojo Israel said NCABAC’s core aims and objectives are to ensure social order and continued peace and stability of Nigeria while conveying government policies and programmes to the people and vice versa.
“Our coalition is bringing respected faith leaders together All across states of the federation to promote peace, responsible leadership, community and social stability in Nigeria.”
“Our Coalition has been tailored as a bridge between government and the people by the several programmes and projects we have embarked upon, executed through various RELIGIOUS LEADERSHIP PLATFORMS.
“Sir, faith leaders interact with communities daily. We often see tension before it reaches government awareness. Our goal is to work as a stabilizing voice.” and be strategically valuable,” he explained.
