***Delivers Goodwill Message At Nigerian Women’s Day Event In New York
The Chairman of the National Population Commission, Dr. Aminu Yusuf on Thursday emphasized the critical role of women in national development and reaffirmed Nigeria’s commitment to promoting gender equality and empowering women across all sectors of society.
Dr. Aminu Yusuf, stated this when he delivered a goodwill message at the Nigerian Women’s Day celebration held in New York, USA.

DECENCY GLOBAL NEWS reports that the event formed part of the activities marking the 70th Session of the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women (UN-CSW70), which is currently taking place at the United Nations Headquarters in New York.

Dignitaries present at the event included the United Nations Deputy Secretary-General, Ms. Amina Mohammed; the Honourable Minister of Women Affairs and Social Development, Hajia Imaan Sulaiman-Ibrahim; and the former Minister of Women Affairs, Mrs. Pauline Tallen, among others.
