Former Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi has congratulated singer Tems on her win at the just concluded 67th Grammy Awards.
Tems won the award for Best African Music Performance for her song “Love Me Jeje,” marking her second Grammy win.
Obi praised Tems’ achievement, highlighting her as a shining example of the creativity and brilliance of Nigerian youth.
He also commended the Nigerian entertainment industry and other artists who received Grammy nominations, emphasising the country’s rich talent pool.
Tems’ victory was a significant milestone, as she emerged victorious in a highly competitive category featuring other notable Nigerian artists.
Obi reiterated commitment to building a nation that fosters growth among youths and helps them discover and harness their individual talents.
