All arrangements have been concluded by the organizers of the maiden Reunion event of Olubadan High School, Aperin, Ibadan, Class of 89.
The ceremony schedule to hold on Saturday, November 22nd 2025 at CIYAN Hotel, Near old Ibadan Tollgate Along Ibadan/Ife Expressway.
According to a statement by Pastor Prof. Durodola Olujide and ACP Abiodun Bakare, the maiden Reunion programme would afford the 1989 set of Olubadan High School Aperin, Ibadan, Oyo State opportunity to fraternize, socialize and think of ways to assist lifting up their alma matter from her present precarious infrastructure deficiencies which may hinder good academic delivery of teachers in the great school.
The theme of the gathering is “Together Again for Growth and Progress”. The Reunion kicks off by 11am.
The National President of Olubadan High School Alumni, Otunba Idowu Oladunni and the Immediate Past President, Elder Adeolu would be the Guests of Honour at the occasion.
The Secretary of the Reunion planning Committee, Sir ‘Tunde Babalola JP said the Event aimed at working in tandem with the school anthem: “Pass On The Torch, Pass On the learning”, so as to “build where we have laid”, appreciate the efforts of other sets in the Alumni as well as the National Alumni body and continue to build till the school reach the greater heights expected of her.
A members of the 85 set of OHS, Dr Okunola from Lagos would deliver a lecture titled: “Building a Strong Alumni Structure – Plans for leadership, committees, dues, and communication”, during the Reunion programme.
The statement concluded that security arrangements have been put in place to ensure a serene environment for their meeting after 36 years.
It then wished all Alumni traveling from far and wide journey mercies to and from the ancient city of Ibadan.
