‎Olubadan High School 89 Alumni Set Celebrates Her Own, DCP Abiodun Bakare On Promotion

‎The Olubadan High School 89 Alumni Set has celebrated Mr Abiodun Bakare, the newly promoted Deputy Commissioner of Police who is a member of the set.

In a congratulatory message to DCP Bakare signed by the Governor of OHS 89 Alumni, Mrs Abimbola Sanusi and Sir ‘Tunde Babalola JP, the Secretary, the Group extolled DCP Bakare for being a “shining light”among the crop of Professionals among the OHS 89 set.

‎The statement stated “Congratulations On Your Recent Promotion

‎Our beloved Colleague, we received the news of your recent promotion to the prestigious Deputy Commissioner of Police in Nigeria Police Force with joy and thankfulness to God.

‎This is much expected and well-deserved promotion did not come to us as a surprise having known you for hardwork, dedication, commitment to assigned duties and integrity in all that you do.

‎The OHS Class of 89 is proud to associate with you as a Colleague that is lifting the banner of our great school high as you continue to “pass on the torch” and wish you more successes in your career.

‎It is our prayer that the good Lord will grant you good health, wisdom, knowledge and understanding to continue to serve Nigeria with the best of your ability.

‎The Commissioner of Police, Niger State Command CP Adamu Abdullahi Elleman, mnips had late last month officially decorated the newly promoted DCP Abiodun Bakare, the outgoing Area Commander Bida who was promoted to the rank of Deputy Commissioner of Police. The decoration ceremony took place at the state Police Command’s conference hall in Minna, the Niger State Capital.

In his remarks, the Commissioner of Police congratulated the newly promoted senior officer and stated that the promotion is a well-deserved elevation for the officer based on his commitment and dedication to duty. He commended him for his efforts in tackling crime and criminality in Bida Area Command and his contributions to the Niger State Police Command as a whole. He added that to whom much is given, much is expected as he urged the officer to do more in his new capacity, while he also encouraged him to continue to uphold professionalism and discipline in the line of duty.

DCP Bakare responded by appreciating the Police Service Commission and the Inspector General of Police for his elevation. He also acknowledged the mentorship and leadership of the Commissioner of Police, Niger State Command CP Adamu Abdullahi Elleman, while appreciating him for his positive recommendations and guidance. He assured that he shall continue to offer his best in Policing for national development.
