Port Harcourt Archdiocesan Men’s Fellowship Ends Biennial Conference, Elects New Executive

‎The Men’s Fellowship, Port Harcourt Archdiocese has ended her 6th/4th Biennial Conference hosted by the Diocese of Bori with the election new Archdiocesan executive of the Fellowship. The 4-day power packed conference which was held at Wesley Cathedral Bori featured teachings, prayer warfare, revival hour, teaching on personal development, community hymn singing, football competition and election of New Archdiocesan executive.

‎In his opening charge, the host Bishop, Rt Rev Dr L. H Nnam spoke on the Theme of the Conference,”Men, Arise Unto Greater Service”.

He charged men to be problem solvers rather than problem creators, as a way of rising unto greater service.

‎Bishop Nnam also raised several issues bothering on how to improve the work of God among men in Nigeria’s premier church.

‎The Rt. Rev. Solomon Gberegbara- of the Anglican Communion, the Bishop of Ogoni Diocese and Chairman, Ogoni Council of Churches who was the Keynote speaker highlighted the benefits of modern technology and teaching aids in arising unto greater service.

He then charged men not to relent as the task becomes more challenging with passing days.

‎The ArchDiocesan Men’s Fellowship President, Elder Jonas W Adasijah, had in his address of welcome, appreciated God for gathering men in the Archdiocese together for their Conference which he said would go a long way in the spiritual upliftment of men in the Archdiocese.

The National Treasurer, Methodist Men’s Fellowship, The Rev Isaac Nwiya, led the Conference in a prayer warfare where the congregants poured out the hearts to God.

At the end of the election of the new Archdiocesan executive, Elder Opriye Gabriel was elected as the President while Evang Nwinuka B is the Vice President-elect. The position of the Secretary goes to Elder Livinus Aadum while Bro. Chibuike Nwankwo was elected as Asst. Secretary; Treasurer — Bro. Ngozichukwuka Kenneth Ekebuisi; PRO — Elder Nubari Gbafah and Bro Friday Fubara is the Welfare 2.

‎At the end of all the Competitions, Diocese of D/Line emerged as the overall best followed by Diocese of Ndoki-Asa as runners up with Diocese of Port Harcourt emerged as the third best.
