Tragedy strikes as Nigerian army officer, Lieutenant Samson Haruna passes away after a heated argument with his wife, Rehty.

‎According to reports, the argument occurred on September 22, 2025, at their house in Akwa Ibom.

‎The couple who tied the knot on April 20, 2025, had a heated argument at their house, with the circumstances surrounding the argument still unknown.

‎In a fit of rage during the argument, Rehty doused Samson with petrol and set him on fire.

‎However, Samson was rushed to the University of Uyo Teaching Hospital, where he tragically passed away despite the medical practitioners’ efforts to revive him.

‎In a recent development, Rehty has been arrested and is currently in police custody.

‎On September 22, they had a heated argument in the house which made Rhety to get petrol out of anger,doused it on. Samson and set him on fire.

‎Samson was rushed to The University of Uyo Teaching Hospital where he passed away.
