📖 Psalm 75:6–7; Isaiah 60:1–2
Introduction
Beloved, as we step into the month of September 2025, the Lord has given us a prophetic word — “This is your season of divine promotion and advancement.” Promotion in life does not come from human effort, manipulation, or connections; it comes directly from the Lord.
Psalm 75:6–7 reminds us: “For promotion cometh neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south. But God is the judge: he putteth down one, and seteth up another.”
And Isaiah 60:1 declares: “Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee.”
This month, God is set to lift His people, clothe them with favour, and advance them to higher levels of glory.
Sermon Points
1. Promotion Comes from God Alone
It is not by struggle, lobbying, or self-promotion.
God changes times and seasons, He raises kings and sets others aside (Daniel 2:21).
Example: Joseph was lifted from the prison to the palace (Genesis 41:39–41).
Application : Stop depending solely on human effort; acknowledge God as the source of your lifting.
2. The Call to Rise and Shine
God expects us to position ourselves for promotion by arising in faith.
Darkness may cover the earth, but His glory will be seen upon us (Isaiah 60:1–2).
Promotion is not for pride but to radiate God’s glory.
Application : Step into opportunities this month with boldness, knowing God’s light is upon you.
3. Humility Attracts Divine Lifting
“Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time” (1 Peter 5:6).
Pride leads to demotion, but humility qualifies us for promotion.
Example: David remained humble as a shepherd boy, and God lifted him to kingship.
Application : Walk in humility this month — serve others, give glory to God, and avoid arrogance.
4. Divine Favour Brings Recognition
Favour distinguishes you from the crowd (Esther 2:15–17).
Joseph found favour in prison, and it positioned him for promotion (Genesis 39:21–23).
Favour is the supernatural endorsement of God.
Application: Pray and expect divine favour in your career, ministry, and family this month.
5. Obedience Leads to Advancement
Promotion is tied to obedience to God’s Word (Deuteronomy 28:1–13).
Joshua was commanded to meditate on God’s Word to prosper and advance (Joshua 1:7–8).
Obedience sustains divine lifting.
Application: Live a life of obedience to God’s instructions this month — in holiness, giving, service, and prayer.
6. Faith is the Engine of Advancement
Without faith, it is impossible to please God (Hebrews 11:6).
Faith sees promotion before it manifests.
Example: Abraham stepped out in faith and advanced into destiny (Genesis 12:1–3).
Application: Activate your faith by speaking the Word and declaring God’s promises daily.
Prophetic Declarations
I declare that this month is my season of promotion and advancement.
God will lift me to greater heights beyond my imagination.
I walk in a divine favour that distinguishes me from the crowd.
Every closed door is opened in my favour this month.
My career, family, and ministry are advancing upward and forward.
I shall shine brighter and brighter in Jesus’ name.
Prayer Points
1. Lord, thank You for being my promoter and lifter (Psalm 75:6–7).
2. Father, lift me to the next level You have ordained for me (1 Peter 5:6).
3. Lord, clothe me with uncommon favour in every area of life (Psalm 5:12).
4. Father, cause me to advance and move forward this month (Deut. 28:1–13).
5. Lord, let my life radiate Your glory to the nations (Isaiah 60:1–3).
6. Father, protect my lifting from every attack of the enemy (Job 1:10).
7. Lord, let my promotion be permanent and progressive (Prov. 4:18).
Conclusion
Beloved, this is your season of divine promotion and advancement. Stop relying on human effort and start trusting the One who lifts men. As you walk in humility, obedience, and faith, and as you embrace divine favour, your promotion shall manifest speedily.
👉 Go forth this month and shine, for your light has come and the glory of the Lord is risen upon you.
