Sunday Sermon: Dead But Lives by Bishop Dr Gbenga Barnabas

Text: REV 1:18 – “I am He that liveth and was dead and behold I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.”

Death is naturally supposed to be the end of life or end of existence. But supernaturally for believers death is the passage to legacies that lives forever.

Job asked, If a man die shall he live again? (Job 14:14)
The answer is YES.
How can a man died and still lives ?
Through good, godly and lasting legacies.

We should consciously sustain and inculcates good attributes into the lives of our family, siblings and associates, when you are physically dead, those attributes lives on imparting generations positively.
(2 Tim. 1:5,14)

Today we hear and celebrate Oral Roberts foundation, Bill Gates foundation, Ford foundation etc.
WHAT WILL YOU BE REMEMBERED FOR?
As a believer you belong to Abrahamaic foundation….Gen 12:1-3. “In thee shall all families of the earth be blessed”.

Stop laying emphasis on inheritance, when generations are waiting for you to be a blessing to them.

Now that you are still alive, start building good and godly legacies for your loved ones.

Prophetic Prayers
*** By the grace of God, I won’t bastardize the good legacies of my family.
*** Gracious God empower me to transfer the godly virtues of my life to my generation.
*** Blood of Jesus, no one will manipulate my life for evil. I shall not end up badly on earth, my family will be proud of my legacies In Jesus Name Amen.
